All,

;   I was having issues with the precompiled headers so, disabled them through the project properties in Visual C++ 2005. ; Can anyone think of a reason why I would need to compile opal with the use of percompiled headers?

Compilation speed. Aside from that, I don't see any other
reason why it
would affect the behavior of the binary produced by the
compiler.

Hmmm, what issues - could you explain? Today I've compiled
OPAL/pwlib
from CVS under VS 2005, with no problems.

Reason - as Joegen wrote: (re)compilation, in most cases, is
faster for
large projects with many large, rarely changed headers.

I've read about problems with precompiled headers, but as I
said before - I
didn't have any with OPAL/pwlib.
