Guys
The OpenH323_Plugins branch (aside from Video Plugins)
incorporates some
major changes to the OpenH323 stack including restructuring
and the removal
of 22 files from the build.
Some of the Highlights
1. Plugin Video support backported from Opal (Thanks for
guilhem for
finishing off the quite large undertaking and code tidy up
after my return
from holidays)
2. H.235 Plugin Authenticator support added to support
external smartcard
and biometric authenticators which can be used to
authenticate callers.
3. More extensive H.460 support.
4. All the LID code has been removed to make way for the
eventual LID
plugin backport from Opal
5. The windows HID support has been removed which is now
incorporated into
the LID plugin support.
6. Some file restructuring
It currently compiles and runs on both Linux and Windows
(2003 not 2005
yet) and OpenMCU has also been branched.
Porting existing applications to the new branch only
requires minor changes
with all video capabilities now being loaded via the
H323EndPoint::AddAllCapabilities() function.
All that is required is the removal of references to the
hardcoded video
capability definition and old video header files. All other
application
functionality (ie.H323EndPoint::OpenVideoChannel etc)
remains unchanged.
Note: A lot of the new H460 functionality is also
simultaneously being
worked into GnuGk CVS.
