String equivalent to RegEx

Can someone please help me to find a string equivalent to
the
following RegEx?

/d{1,2}/d{1,2}/d{1,4]/

This is of time critical importance... a chocolate bar rides
on the
quick answer.

I unfortunately don't know what it is supposed to be.  All I
know is
that it is supposed to be some sort of string.

It is regex for checking or grabbing the string that has
date dd/mm/
yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy ... depend on the person who type it
