Hi folks. Thanks for all the support for FC1,2. Has FC3 now
been transferred
to Fedora Legacy? If so, I'll update my apt sources.list.
I'd love to take
part in testing packages, but as I've just been working with
Linux for just
over 2 years, feel a bit incompetant. ( and I'm sure I've
spelt that wrong).
Thanks for all your hard work. Nigel.

Yes, FC3 is now in our hands. We should have a yum config
file package
coming very soon for yum users.

Humm, ditto for the yum repo's. If these have changed
locations, please
post the corresponding lines for our yum.conf files.

Cheers, Gene
People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should
add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses
vz's
stupid bounce rules. I do use spamassassin too.

Hi Jesse. I'm only using Yum on one of my FC1 installs. Are
the the FC3
security updates also available with apt, as most of my
installs are already
using apt for planetccrma stuff, and it's more convenient to
just add the URL
to the apt sources.list. Nigel.

Instructions are up on the site. No different than for
previous
versions of FC by the way.

You might want to consider switching to yum. Planet CCRMA is
also
available through yum and apt for rpm is just a sinking ship
really.

lwn.net has a fairly sympathetic article about fedora legacy
in their
latest edition (26.1.06). this edition is available only to
subscribers
until 2.2.06, but i've used their "make-a-link"
tool to allow FL list
readers to read the article.
the article's at http://lwn.net/SubscriberLink/168907/4e60c6f97a3cf3fe/
for anyone who's interested.
