I don't know about your playbin problem, but you almost
certainly want
to try using the fluendo mpegts demuxer[1] rather than the
ffmpeg one,
it's more capable and seems more solid and reliable to me
(and should do
clock synchronisation when my patches in the trac get
applied..)
