  Version:              0.10.4

Which as far as I can tell was released well after Sept,
2006 when the bug
was reported fixed.  So again I am still stuck with no voice
track on DVDs

gst-plugins-ugly 0.10.4 was released in August 2006 AFAICS,
and this bug
was fixed in the gst-plugins-ugly 0.10.5 release, so unless
your distro
has backported the fix you need to upgrade to 0.10.5 or
newer.
