    Hi all,

  I just made a pre-release of gst-python 0.10.6.1 . It mainly fixes
thread-safety issues.


  Tarballs are available at the usual place:
   http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/src/gst-python/pre/

  Please test it with your favorite application and report bugs on bugzilla.


  If all goes well, expect a 0.10.7 release on monday.

I've quickly tried a few things (custom elements in Python, threaded
operation in parallel with Twisted) and haven't seen any regression.

And what about http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376996 ?
Is it destined o bit rot in bugzilla forever?

  What do you mean ? It's up to the pygobject maintainers to take that
issue into consideration and fix it in pygobject. Or did you mean
something else ?

  Sorry, read too quickly. I thought you meant the
pygobject.set_property() issue. This gst-python is mainly for
thread-safety reasons. I didn't want to piggyback too many patches in
for this release.
