GStreamer - GSM support

Hi,

This query is little bit off-topic.

If i want to build a linux phone with GStreamer handling the
audio related
stuff(input and output) will it work ?

I mean iterms of support for EFR/AMR ?

Should these be handled by a seperate library or can they be
supported by 
setting
few properties of audio source elements ?
