Seek handling & sequence of events

Hello,

I am writing a source plug-in, and I would like
to know a bit about how to handle a seek event.

More specifically, I probably need to create
newsegment events and send them to my source
pads. I also wonder if I need to send
flush_start/flush_stop events, or if this is
implied by the newsegment event. If yes, could
anybody tell me a bit more about
flush_start/flush_stop, as I have some
difficulties to figure it out from the
documentation.
