Why Xen/ia64 pins vCPU0 of Domain-0 on pCPU0?

Hi all,

I have a basic question. Is there any particular reason why
Xen/ia64
pins vCPU0 of Domain-0 on pCPU0? (cf. xensetup.c)

'xm vcpu-pin Domain-0 0 X' command crashes Domain-0. I
thought that
Domain-0 should reject this command on Xen/ia64, if there
was a reason
for pinning vCPU0.

Best regards,
 Kan

I did pin vcpu0 of dom0 when adding SMP-host. Because at
this time vcpu
migration was not supported.
Outdated.
