php_yaz installation problem on xampp

Hi all,

I am new to yaz and I am trying to get php_yaz to work on my
xampp install.

I have xampp 1.5.4a with php 1.5.6
I was unable to find the latest binary version of
php_yaz.dll on your site 
and have been keeping the versions that came with xampp (dll
version is 
5.1.6.6 in ext folder)

I have installed yaz 2.1.46, copied all the dlls from the
bin dir to the 
system/win32 folder
I have removed the ; in front of the php_yaz.dll line in
php.ini

When i try to use the sample .php script on your doc, i get
an error on 
yaz_connect() method

When trying to run php.exe from the command line i get 
something like " 
unable to find entry point _ZOOM_scanset_display_term16 in
yaz.dll

Any idea how i could progress on this problem

_ZOOM_scanset_display_term16 in yaz.dll
Your php installation is not fetching the YAZ.DLL you
assume. xampp and 
PHP for windows is shipped with an ancient version of YAZ
(1.9.1).

php_yaz.dll requires YAZ 2.0.13 (from Feb 2004) or higher.
Remove 
yaz.dll from xampp (in /Program Files/xampp/ext or similar)
. Or replace 
it with a new yaz.dll.
