Fatal error: Call to undefined function yaz_connect

Hello, 

I am trying to get Shelfwire Personal Librarian to run on my
home computer http://s
ourceforge.net/projects/shelfwire/-- 
D:xamppxampphtdocsshelfwire 

I am running WindowsXP Home Edition Service Pack 2-- 
C:WINDOWS 

I get this error when I try to search Library of Congress--

Fatal error: Call to undefined function yaz_connect() in
D:xamppxampphtdocsshelfwireaddresults.php on line 90 

I have installed ApacheFriends XAMPP for Windows in
D:xamppxampp-- 
Apache 2.2.4 
MySQL 5.0.33 
PHP 5.2.1 & PHP 4.4.5 
phpMyAdmin 2.9.2 
FileZilla FTP Server 0.9.22 
OpenSSL 0.9.8d 

I have uncommented the php_yaz.dll in php.ini-- 
;extension=php_xmlwriter.dll 
extension=php_xsl.dll 
extension=php_yaz.dll 
extension=php_zip.dll 
;extension=php_zlib_filter.dll 

I have replaced the yaz.dll version 1.9.1.1 with 2.1.50.1 in
D:xamppxamppphp 

Yaz files  -- 

D:xamppxamppphp yaz.dll 1.04 MB (1,097,728 bytes) 
D:xamppxamppphp yaz-client.exe 68.0 KB (69,632 bytes) 
D:xamppxamppphp yaz-marcdump.exe 8.00 KB (8,192 bytes) 
D:xamppxamppphp yaz-ztest.exe 44.0 KB (45,056 bytes) 
D:xamppxamppphpext php_yaz.dll 44.0 KB (45,113 bytes) 
D:xamppxamppphpextensions php_yaz.dll 32.0 KB (32,768
bytes) 

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

That error does not mean anything but 'YAZ not loaded' or
'YAZ not 
loaded correctly'.

Two versions of php_yaz.dll . That can't be good.
