I'm attempting to install YAZ on a Red Hat machine (RHEL4)
using the
rpms at http://ft
p.indexdata.dk/pub/yaz/redhat/fc6. I grabbed
yaz-2.1.54-1.i386.rpm, but on install, I got:
error: Failed dependencies:
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.4) is needed by yaz-2.1.54-1.i386
libcrypto.so.6 is needed by yaz-2.1.54-1.i386
libhistory.so.5 is needed by yaz-2.1.54-1.i386
libreadline.so.5 is needed by yaz-2.1.54-1.i386
libssl.so.6 is needed by yaz-2.1.54-1.i386
libyaz = 2.1.54 is needed by yaz-2.1.54-1.i386
libyaz.so.2 is needed by yaz-2.1.54-1.i386
rtld(GNU_HASH) is needed by yaz-2.1.54-1.i386
Attempting to install libyaz still leaves me with:
error: Failed dependencies:
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.4) is needed by
libyaz-2.1.54-1.i386
libcrypto.so.6 is needed by libyaz-2.1.54-1.i386
libssl.so.6 is needed by libyaz-2.1.54-1.i386
rtld(GNU_HASH) is needed by libyaz-2.1.54-1.i386
I take it I need one of the GNU C libraries and assorted
other things?
Or am I just looking at the wrong rpm for my version of Red
Hat? I
didn't see any dependencies in the docs...
Thanks!
