Emne: [Yazlist] Complex query

Hello!
please, help me to work this out...

The situation is following:
There is a 'Circulation' database, which contain records
about books
in the library. Each Book is identified by an ID-Field
(Example: "RU\BGDU\BOOKS\4345"). There may be
several records in the
database with the same BookID.

Problem: I have a list with several BookIDs... I have to
find out, how
many records of each BookID is there in the database. The
problem here
is the performance - making a query per each BookID from my
list is
inefficient. More than that, I don't actually need the
records themselves - I
just need the Number of records for each BookID.
Using SQL the query wold be something like
"
SELECT BookID, COUNT(*)
FROM CirculationDatabase
WHERE BookID in ('RU\BGDU\BOOKS\4345',
'RU\BGDU\BOOKS\3598')
GROUP BY BookID
"

How can I make this query using Z39.50?
