Depending on your indexing structure you might want to do
something like
attr
1=12 attr4=1 "RU\BGDU\BOOKS\4345"
because you want to search the ID as phase : http://www.loc.gov/z3950/agency/defns/bib1.html#structu

Emne: [Yazlist] PrefixQuery syntax
Hello.
Please, help me to solve the following problem...
I know, that there is a record in the database with ID =
"RU\BGDU\BOOKS\4345".
What PrefixQuery should I use to select this record?
I've tryed " attr 1=1016 RU\BGDU\BOOKS\4345",
but that returns no
records in the result set...
The query " attr 1=1016 4345" finds the record,
but I need to conduct
the search by the full ID-string...
