I'm sorry.  I meant to say, if you have installed libmng,
you don't
need the "add" patch that installs libmng.

It is also true that if you are using libmng you don't need
libpng
because libmng can handle both static and animated images.

I'm not sure that anyone here knows how to build Firefox on
Windows.
In the past I have gotten help from "mahowi" or
"auenf" who are subscribers
to the Mozillazine.org forums.  Mahowi builds FF-2.0 and
Auenf builds
FF-3.0, with MNG/JNG support, for Windows.
