Libpng-1.2.17beta1 is available at
ftp://ftp.simplesystems.org/pub/png-group/src
and at
http://libpng.sf.net
The redundant line of code in pngset.c is eliminated.
scripts/CMakeLists.txt is revised to install both static
and shared libraries by default, and there are links
to libpng12.so.0 and libpng12.so.0.17.0, similar to those
installed by "configure". It does not build the
"compatibility"
libpng.* libraries, nor does it install GNU *.la files.
$ ls lib-cmake
libpng12.a libpng12.so.0 pkgconfig
libpng12.so libpng12.so.0.17.0
$ ls lib-configure
libpng.a libpng.so.3 libpng12.la
libpng12.so.0.17.0
libpng.la libpng.so.3.17.0 libpng12.so
pkgconfig
libpng.so libpng12.a libpng12.so.0
Previously, cmake would only install libpng.so and
pkgconfig.
