Machines not automatically updating

Not sure if this is the right list but...

I have a large number of WS 3, AS 3, and AS 4 machines. 
They all
check-in with RHN and are registered to automatically apply
errata,
however they are not.  I need to manually schedule them to
do this.
This started happening in the last few months...not exactly
sure when.  

I haven't changed any configuration settings, so I'm not
sure where to
start looking...
