Yes. I am trying to install Oracle. It is a lot more
difficult installing
on Linux as it is on UNIX. Linux closes everything by
default and you
have to find the spots where you need to open things up. All
that I want
to do is log into my Linux server as the oracle user, run
the install
script and install Oracle. As part of this, however, it
wants to open an
Xwindow. I am logging in from the console, am running RedHat
4, and am in
runlevel 5.
