xclock works as my root user but not as my oracle user. I
get
Xlib: No protocol specified

Error: Can't open display :0.0

When I try to do "xhost +oraclecronos.workgroup.com"
it gives me a
failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for
operation).

I can just do a "xhost +" for everything and that
works, but I am having
trouble adding individual users.

Are you logging in as root then su - oracle?

Have you tried logging in as oracle from the login prompt?
(I think root
for some reason doesn't want to give up it's xhost.)

 Hello Folks,

Its because of "setuid" permission issue. If you
want to install Oracle
application please login as a normal user (regular user it
could be
oracle ) once you logged IN open a terminal and issue
"xhost + " alone.
Then start firing the Oracle installer from the appropriate
path. This
should work for you.

Thanks
Jason.
