    tzdata is the package you want to update.  Has been updated for quite some time.  The latest one if from November I believe.

Yes, long long ago. If you want to check a particular
machine you can run

# zdump -v /etc/localtime | grep 2007

and see if it is patched already, which it likely is if you
apply
errata from RHN.
