I couldn't find this on the dnet web site. What's the
current re-issue
interval for OGR and RC5-72? I have a couple of offline
clients and I
was wondering how long I could wait between block fetches
and flushes.

OGR is currently getting re-issued every few days. I don't
know about
RC5.

Worst case for OGR is two weeks, after this period workunit
can be
assigned to and completed by somebody else, so your job will
be wasted
from project's point of view. This is a worst case scenario,
but it's
not possible for end-user to determine is it safe to keep
blocks longer
or not. Anyway, your job will be credited -- to be accounted
in your
stats, workunit should be returned within much longer period
-- at least
4 months.

For RC5-72, I didn't hear of any recycles. I think it can be
years...

There's really no reason to recycle RC5 blocks until all of
the other
blocks have been checked. So it could be a large number of
years
indeed before any blocks are re-issued.

Or Hundreds or maybe a Thousand years???? LOL I doubt if
there will be
any recycles in my lifetime or the next 5 generations LOL
I'd love for a
winner to be found before 2010,but not even at 1% yet for
RC5-72,I don't
think we'll ever see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Actually, we're "getting close" to having PS3 and
Nvidia clients, each
of which is over 150Mk/s. That would make quite a difference
in how many
days to hit 100%.

I'm curious what operating systems do you think the Nvidia
clients will
be able to support? Will it be restricted to Windows only?
