hello,

I'm working on two separate DocBook XML files. Both
validate as DocBook
4.3; however, I can only convert one of the two documents to
PDF using
db2pdf.

The problem document gives me the following error:
emmajane1[documents]$ db2pdf multilingual-searching.xml
Using catalogs: /etc/sgml/catalog
Using stylesheet:
/usr/share/docbook-utils/docbook-utils.dsl#print
Working on:
/home/emmajane/documents/multilingual-searching.xml
openjade:/usr/share/sgml/docbook/stylesheet/dsssl/modular/pr
int/dbcompon.dsl:205:3:E:
flow object not accepted by port; only display flow objects
accepted
/usr/share/docbook-utils/backends/pdf: line 9: 16298
Segmentation fault
      $SGML_JADE -t tex -o $.tex
$SGML_ARGUMENTS

(This is the page numbering part of the style sheet.)

I can convert the XML file to HTML...but I need PDF output
for this project.

The source file is at:
www.xtrinsic.com/geek/articles/multilingual-searching.xml

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

regards,
emma

Solution: get rid of the <glossary> ....

I'm now using <formalpara> instead. Not quite as
semantically elegant,
but I think I'll survive.
