ANN: RefDB 0.9.9 released

Hi all,

this is to announce version 0.9.9 of RefDB, a reference
database and  
bibliography tool for markup languages. For DocBook users,
the key  
features of this new release are the support for the
upcoming  
schema-based version 5.0, as well as the new support for
"raw"  
bibliographies. By default, "cooked"
bibliographies are generated  
which are processed through RefDB's own stylesheet driver
files in  
order to provide formatting based on a publisher's or
journal's  
requirements. "Raw" bibliographies are processed
straight with the  
stock DocBook stylesheets, or with whatever XSLT you come up
with  
yourself. The most important new non-DocBook-specific
features are a  
completely rewritten web interface, with improved search
capabilities,  
editing forms, and live links with a "tag cloud"
display, as well as a  
SRU interface (Search and Retrieve via URL, see  
http://www.loc.gov/s
tandards/sru) with MODS export.
