MadCap Flare to Support Docbook and DITA

Just a short note for people interested in MadCap Flare and
asking whether or 
not Docbook could be supported. This new podcast website for
technical 
writers has an interview with Mike Hamilton, VP of Product

From reading marketing material, I could trow an old orange
peel into
MadCap and get out XML.

Could you maybe tell us (or direct us where to find - in
text form...)
what major formats this Flare thing can turn into DocBook
XML? Also,
it would be good to have specifics, such as version of
DocBook
supported, technologies involved in the conversion, etc...

Hello Chris,

I do not have this information, but I think that the podcast
interview gives 
us some great insight into the thinking and intention of
Madcap. Take a 
listen.

I will compose a message to Madcap about Docbook and cc this
list. Hopefully 
we can get some clearer answers and perhaps even find ways
to help Madcap 
provide excellent support Docbook.
