doku.php Error

Hello,

On my my dokuwiki site, I getting a set of error messages.

Warning: session_write_close(): write failed: No space left
on device
(28) in [mysite]/doku.php on line 74

Warning: session_write_close(): Failed to write session data
(files).
Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path
is correct
(/tmp) in
[mysite]/doku.php on line 74


I have not changed anything since this morning when it all
looked good
and healthy. The wiki has been up for months. doku.php shows
its list
change on 8/27/07.

Help? Is this a problem with my host? The wiki lives on your
average
shared Linux server.

Your hard drive (or the space provided you by your host) has
no space 
left, i'd guess.

Could be a configuration error on your host that prevents
you writing to 
the /tmp folder.

Hi Martin,

Thanks. The odd thing is that that should not happen. My
usage
amounts/limits are 15,569.53/999999 MB. So this would be a
case of my
host needing to make more space for me?

Quite possibly your allocation isn't all used up, but the
disk is full  
(they've over allocated by design) or at least the disk
where the  
sessions are stored is full.  So yeah, reaise a support
ticket (or  
hell) with your host.

If the 15GB space you use is only from dokuwiki, I could
imagine that 
you run out of filesystem nodes. Your host is surely
limiting the 
maximum number of your inode entries. This means, you have
too much wiki 
pages  ask your
host to raise your inode limit.
