DataTable to be used prior to DataView

I'm a starter in .Net & woking with the datagrid control
for
databinding.  Datagrid displays the rows well.  But when i
want to
sort the data through sort headers, the error
"DataTable to be used
prior to DataView" is displayed.   The error line is
"dv.sort =
"Name""

Can anyone help me in getting the code for sort command. 
Please drop

You have to sort the dataview, and rebind this to you datagrid after sorting. There are many examples in google. If you cant firure it out post the sort and binding code.
