Here's a brief overview of what we're looking for there in Palo Alto, CA.

  WebLogic / UNIX / Application Systems Engineer

 This person will be responsible for moving Java/J2EE applications from one data center server to another as part of a large data center consolidation project with Hewlett Packard.

 Skills/experience needed:

·          WebLogic Administrator experience that includes deployments, patches, upgrades, etc. of WebLogic Application Server. (if the only experience the candidate has in this area is performance monitoring, it will not be a good fit)

·          UNIX Admin background (HP-UX preferred)

·          Experience writing shell scripts

·          Experience deploying Java/J2EE based application using WebLogic Application Server

·          Ability to use many technical tools/skills since there are many technical problems/issues that can come up in this work.

 Position 3:

Location : Jacksonville

Duration : 12 months

Bill-Rate  : $/hr inclusive all

Major responsibilities: *Responsible for leading development team in the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications *Write code for system designs that span platforms *Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs *Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration points *Estimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming projects *Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications *Supports application throughout the Product Development life cycle *Coordinate with areas for integration architecture solutions and determine the integration approach *Bachelor's degree in related business area or equivalent work experience and 6 or more years of related work experience *Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development methodologies, database methodologies and system integration *Detailed understanding of coding design and documentation protocol as well as unit testing, change management and release procedures *Strong Analysis and Design skills required. *3+ years of Demonstrated experience with Unix operating systems (e.g., Unix, MVS, etc) *3+ years of Demonstrated experience programming using PL/SQL *Experience in complex application development in a RDBMS environment . Oracle experience required. *Demonstrated experience using ProC preferred *PC Skills *Demonstrated experience using debugging tools, processes, and techniques. *Demonstrated experience using versioning tools such as PVCS or Clear Case RUP a plus Bachelor's degree related to Information Technology. *Health Care Industry knowledge preferred . *Experience using the Rational Unified Process, tools, and artifacts preferred. *Must be able to work well in a fast-paced, professional development team environment. *Must be a self-starter, that can effectively lead development team. *Must have 2+ years of Demonstrated development team lead experience.
