SENIOR SQL SERVER DBA
All Candidates must be able to fully demonstrate the following 4 categories for this Senior level position:
1. Backup and Restore
2. Performance monitoring using SQL Profiler and/or scripts
3. Understands the difference between SQL Authentication and Windows Authentication and when they should use one over the other
4. Has the ability to create and sustain Customer Relationships through written and verbal communication skills

Senior-Level SQL Server Data Base Administrator.
- Demonstrated expertise supporting SQL Server on the Windows platform.
- Proven experience with database recoverability, performance monitoring and tuning, database security maintenance and implementation.
-Proven experience in both SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005
-Proven understanding of the Microsoft SQL Server architecture and tools.
-Ability to communicate effectively in order to create and sustain effective Customer Relations Ability to troubleshoot and analyze problems
-Ability to work with minimum direction
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with all levels within the organization
-Experience with Windows 2000/2003.
-Experience with new server installations.
-Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of business intelligence offerings including Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Data Transformation Services.
-Available for 24x7 on-call support
-Knowledge of SQL Server 2000 Knowledge of SQL Server 2005 Knowledge of SQL Analysis Services Knowledge of SQL Reporting Services

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ENTERPRISE ENVIRONMENTS. OUR CLIENT EXPECTS EACH DBA TO HANDLE 20-40 SERVERS. CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THIS TYPE OF ENVIRONMENT
