Need Linux/Unix Admin in Atlanta for 1yr

Hi Business Partners,

  This is a UNIX admin position.  The core skill set is a 50/50 split between Linux and HP/UX.  Any additional AIX or VMWare experience is a deal clincher and very nice to have. ; The required skills section below tells you everything you need to look for in technical skill strengths. This is a 1 year contract and the rate will be competitive with what the other competition finds in the market.

D.  Technical Skills Needed    
Required Skills: Extensive experience in building/deploying Linux / Unix servers in a corporate setting. Thorough understanding of AIX, HP-UX, and Linux operating systems. Advanced knowledge of VMWare and other virtualization technologies implemented on x86_64 hardware. An understanding of SAN and iSCSI. Background in managing system in multiple remote sites. Knowledge of scripting scripting languages, Korn and Bash essential, Perl preferred OS/Application installations, remote monitoring and management of all system components: Hardware, OS, firmware, and software. 

Preferred Skills: RHCE, HP CSE, PMI certification, unix background, software application development exposure, THD contract experience.      

Years of  experience: 5-10   ;  
E.  Soft  Skills Needed
Position will require a self starter who has excellent documentation and verbal communication skills. Position requires the ability to work with application teams, networking, storage engineering, data services, and facilities to insure successful implementations. - Driver;  takes responsibility and drive team members to deliverables. Good listener and tranlator of concepts and ideas.

F.  Project Description/Daily Assignment  ;     
Detailed Description of Daily Assignment:   Work with Engineering and Application teams to create and configure lab and test environments for the Store Server environments. Develop and document creative and workable solutions to issues encountered with the project. This Engineer will report to the Lead Infrastructure Architect.

Detailed Description of needed deliverable: Resposible for working with infrastructure and application teams to deploy a development and testing environments for the new store computing platform. Participate in the design of the new store environment.  Help to create workable processes for systems provisioning, management, remote deployement and conversions
