Need SAS Clinical data Analyst in NJ

Hi Business Partners,

  The manager is looking to interview and hire immediately.

Location: Montville,NJ.  
Although the migration project has to be completed within 3-4 months, it's possible we'll have additional work for this position.

Project Scope
Client has SAS version 8 clinical data residing on a 32-bit Unix environment.  This data needs to be migrated to SAS version 9 on a new 64-bit Unix server.
The data and servers reside in Germany but we should be able to complete the work from Montville.  
This is a fairly urgent request as it is part of the Biostatistics Integration project.  A tentative timeline is the end of April.

Candidate experience
The SAS candidate should have at least 5 years, and preferably 7-10 years, of SAS development experience.  
The candidate should not be a pure SAS clinical programmer, although having clinical programming experience is helpful.
The candidate should have worked on a SAS data migration, preferably migrating from V8 to V9 in a Unix environment.
It's helpful if the candidate worked in a Pharmaceutical environment and has validation experience

Candidate skill set
SAS version 9 on Unix (primary) and Windows (secondary)
Base SAS, SAS Macro, SAS ODS and SAS Migration Procedures
Unix Shell scripting
Windows
Microsoft Office
Good documentation and communication abilities 

 

I've spoken to the manager and received the following feedback:

1. The candidates submitted did not have experience in  "SAS data migration, preferably migrating from V8 to V9 in a Unix environment"  
2. Migrating of SAS Data is a MUST
3. Some cover pages stated SAS migrating experience, however, it wasn't in the resume.
