I tried =UPPER(09/30/2005) but it reads as
0.000149625935162095
??
haha, I'm quite sure I'm doing something wrong there.
Wyatt, I was trying to stay away from doing it the way you
suggested (=UPPER(TEXT(D1,"mmmm yyyy"))) because
I didn't want to use 2 cells to get it done. It's just the
header of a report and the rest of the report is in caps so
it looks kind of funny. But I guess it's not really that
big of a deal.
Bob, it's not VBA but I'll save that code because I'm
sure it will come in handy for something else.

Crystal,
Try wrapping things in the Upper function. I do not know if
that will work because there are numbers in there.

Subject: capital letters in date format
Good morning, do you know how to make the date format use
capital letters for the month name? I'm using this format
mmmm yyyy
to make '6/30/05' read as 'June 2005' but I want it to
read
'JUNE 2005'. I tried capitalizing the m's in the format
but
it didn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks!!
