Fwd: importing the oprofile and rpm plugins

Hey everyone,

I just realized that my first reply to Ben's message was
actually to
Ben alone and not to the list.

I'm forwarding the subsequent conversation that's been had
thus far
over so that others can see the proper SVN URL to put in and
also
offer their thoughts about this MANIFEST.MF issue.

Regards,
Rem

Hi Ben,

Pasting the link you provided in 1 did the trick, thanks.

I checked out the ChangeLog plug-in and noticed that it does
not have
a MANIFEST.MF file. Why is that? It seems that the rpm
plug-ins also
don't have this file (I didn't click on all of them but the
ones I did
take a look at didn't have the file).

Is this for Eclipse 2.x backwards compatibility reasons
since the
Eclipse framework did not use OSGi back then?

Thanks,
Rem

Hi Remy,

I'm replying again to your message about the MANIFEST.MF so
that the
list will get a copy ...

The pluigns were initially developed for an older version of
Eclipse -
probably something in the 2.x series - but there is
definitely no hard
requirement on this older version. We would gladly accept
patches to
update the pluigns to 3.2.

BTW, I also put the subversion repository information on the
wiki page.

Cheers, Ben
