Eclipse 3.3 on Ubuntu always crashing ...

You should file a bug at bugs.eclipse.org.  The developers
will be able
to help you track it down.  If it always happens with jsps,
file it
against WTP but otherwise, the Platform component might be
best.

You can also try to change the JVM memory options when
running Eclipse using

-mx256m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m

or other values.

In any case filing a bug as Andrew suggests sounds like a
good idea.
