Committers,

At our last Phoenix call we had decided to move our Bugzilla entries to Community / Website since it was deemed that Technology / Phoenix was too confusing to find. I filed a bug on Monday without much feedback since it appears none of us have setup our bugzilla to watch that group. Is this something that we still intend on doing?

As for the Eclipse.org Banner the bug I have opened is 197520.

Since I’ll be going on holidays Friday I’d like to get this change out the door before then, I’m looking for +1’s on this change. Check the bug for the URL to the banner changes.

Nathan,
"None" is a bit strong - I certainly am watching the Community / Website list. I just didn't have anything to add to your bug, plus I'm at OSCON this week.

Nathan, if that is the bug you complain about than we never
had a chance
to get any notifications. You are the reporter and you
submitted the bug
with you as the owner. Thus, the Community/Website default
assignee
never got a chance to see that bug. That's why no mail was
sent to
anybody watching the default assignee.

When moving bugs between components. Please make sure to
check "Reassign
bug to default assignee and QA contact of selected
component" if you
want to trigger the default assignee and all its watchers.

I think this is a good point. Also, if you decide to assign a bug to yourself, please add eclipse.org">phoenix.ui-inboxeclipse.org to the CC so that everyone can continue receiving e-mail updates.

People don't necessarily watch bugzilla components, but instead they watch e-mail addressed to the default component owner.
