Running edubuntu inside VMware...

I am busy installing donated PC's in a primary school.

I have successfully started VMware inside Windows 2000, and the Ubuntu appliance is now running happily in there.

What I require now is the installation files for the educational games, so that I can add them in there for the children to use. I have tried to install the latest TUXMATH.deb but need the superuser password for the VMWARE release of UBUNTU.

Is there anyone out there that can help me with this please.

Regards

Herbie

Ubuntu uses sudo rather than root.

I am after all the educational games that are available on edubuntu or uther debian platforms. If I can just get the links of where to go and download them, it will already help alot

Installing any software will need superuser permissions. You
can use
sudo apt-get install $name_of_program.

sudo needs your own password, ubuntu doesn't ship with root
enabled.

Educational games:
tuxmaths
tuxtype
tuxpaint
kdeedu
