And works flawlessly on a brand new Windows install - do
make sure to defrag in Windows first if it's not a brand new
Windows install.
The simplest and fastest way to have the space split is to
set the partition size when you're installing Windows, so
you don't have to worry about resizing it.

why not just use the autoresize feature of the edubuntu
installer ? its
exactly aimed for this task.
