I configured scanner access for the ltsp-clients on xubuntu
feisty. I
installed saned and inetd into the /etc/ltsp/i386 chroot.
The scanner works right, if I write the IP-address of the
server
into /etc/ltsp/i386/etc/sane.d/saned.conf. If I use the IP
of the client
the it doesn't work.
This cast problems using LTSP in school. There is a computer
lab, where
a scanner is placed. It is not usefull if all the children
can use the
scanner from the other classrooms, where other computers are
placed.
Is there a solution for that problem?
What will happen if we want to use a second scanner in
another
classroom?
