Endian Firewall SMTP Proxy not scanning email.

Hello all,

 

 I am having a few problems with the new Endean firewall I recently installed.

Kernel version: 2.6.9-42.0.3.EL.endian16

Installed in Microsoft Virtual Machine

 

I wish to use this installation for the SMTP inbound spam filtering and if I like the other features I may move this to my main firewall/router.

 

The problem:

I am not getting spam handling of any of the email passing through to proxy. Only X-Virus-Scanned: is showing in email headers.

 

 

I have enabled all option under the smtp page via the web interface. “Proxy | Smtp”;

I have visited the page for antivirus and SPAM. ; I have enabled both. I currently have AV set to bounce. Which is working correctly.

I have the SPAM set to Pass , spam tag level 2.0, Spam mark level, 6.3, spam quarantine level 6.3 send notification only set to 10.  No greylistings or black/whitelistings set.  I have configured my domain and email is passing through the proxy. However, it’s not handling spam.  I checked my email headers for the expected X-antivirus and X-spam information but only the x- AV shows.

Am I missing something ? probably something simple but I am at a loss.
