Summary: port 24441 and www.cogentco.com ?
Initial Comment:
Dear Sirs
I am very glad with Your product.
It helped me succeeding with fighting spam, with greylisting
feature - overwhelming success; at first they did'nt
believed it; they were simply too few spam.
Before 90 % incomming was spam; now 10 % is marked at spam.
(approx. fig.)
Now:
Why is that it sends data (udp) to Cogent Communications
through port 24441, even though the outgoing firewall does
not permit that port.
My endian firewall is ver. 2. (not respin).
Best Wishes
Tom

yes, greylist works very well, not only keeps many spam out,
but also
block almost all virus... but remember, it will be a day
were spamners
will workaround it, so every help is good... like setting
up SPF for all
your domains
as for port 24441/udp, it's for pyzor, to check if the
message is a known
spam... but i think it should be open in the firewall...
try doing a iptables -Ln and see if isnt really there any
rule that would
open it... i'm unable to connect to my machine with efw
right now...
finally, you should use endian bug pages, not sourceforge,
check
http://bugs.endia
n.it/main_page.php
maybe the endian people should disable this one
