I hate to bother the devel list with this, but I've posted multiple message to the users list and no one has responded in 3 weeks of courteous posting. I've also searched the lists and google for hours, without any success.

I';m running EFW community release 2.1 and I have slightly modified the

system to allow local delivery and I've installed a pop server. I wanted to

use the great web interface and gateway functionality of the endian project

but run it as a mailserver. My problem is this, I have modified the

/etc/aliases and /etc/spamassassin/local.cf via the shell and webmin (which

I've also installed on this machine so I can edit these files more easily)

but when I reboot the server or hit "save" on any page within the efw

interface that would be modifying these files, all of my shell and webmin

created changes are lost. I'm aware of the aliases.tmpl and local.cf.tmpl

files but I don't want to have to edit these files every time I make a

change to the live, aliases or local.cf files. Where is efw pulling this

information from when it overwrites these files, and why would it do it on

shutdown? I want to make it so those files aren't touched (I won't be

editing those files via the efw interface anymore). I thought about doing it

using permissions, but I figured there would be an easier way.

Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!
