how to load / configure nic driver for on board nic

Hi
I have gigabyte M61VME-S2 motherboard with nvidia chip set.
I believe
that the forcedeth driver is suposed to work for this chip
set. I have
tried to modprobe forcedeth ,,, it loads the driver but
there in no
interface , I have all to modeprobe.conf alias eth
forcedeth, but
still no luck.. How do I get this to work ... if i don't i
have big
trouble cause need them for the dmz..
