Hello,

I am trying to install 1.1 Rc8 on a Asrock mainbord 
with a P4 1.7 / 1Gb memory. During the first 
installation rond, creating the partitions, the 
installation fails with the error "Unable to create 
root". The only option left is pressing enter to 
reboot. I have tried several disks with the same 
result.

It is running Smoothwall 2 for 1 year now without any 
problems.

What am i doing wrong?

There exists a Problem with SATA Harddisks.Can you please
tell what type of harddisk the problem occur ?
