simply to state  
something like
"This is from the Wikipedia article "Wikipoopians
United" '

Says who? The content has nothing to do with Wikipedia, it
just uses
it. The copyright is owned by the authors and it's them you
need to
attribute it to. Could you cite which clause of the license
you're
referring to?
