First let me say that Eventum is an absolutely wonderful
peace of software.
We have been using it our company for a few months now and
it works
beautifully...at least for those users who actually take the
time to post to
Eventum rather than sending individual emails. That is
where my trouble
currently lies. We've been trying to get users to use
Eventum rather than
sending emails saying "this is messing up" to
one person in our IT
department, but some people just can't get on the
bandwagon. Thus we are
trying to get auto creation of issues through an email
address set up.

I added an email called "techsupport" under
Administration > Manage Email
accounts and turned on Auto-Creation of Issues. When I test
the account,
everything checks out fine. When I run download_emails.php
from the command
line, nothing happens. When I run it from browser, it says
the account
can't be found. I've tried it with subject based routing
on and off, and
still nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Strock

Hello Garren,

I have been wrestling with e-mail integration too. Did you
assign the
right e-mail integration to the appropriate project?

On Windows with IIS, there is a small line of code that
needs to be
altered. Please search the archives to find a previous post
describing
how to do this.

Currently we use one project in Eventum to collect all the
e-mails. Even
e-mails that come into this project but are related to
Issue-ID's from
other projects get routed to the right project
automatically, works as a
charm. However, there is one small issue open here, when the
e-mails get
routed to an issue, the content of the e-mail is not
processed correctly
when the issue-id is in another project. I posted a question
on the
forum regarding this, but it seems the developers are busy
releasing
Eventum 2.0, so I will wait.

Hope my comments will help you, If you got any questions,
please ask.

Kind regards,

Milo van der Linden
