Bryan,
Ah, thank you for finding that. Evidently that mail server
is intermittent, but the only one that we can connect to
from within this very secure (barf) network. Would it be
possible to trap the error and log it instead of it erroring
out and leaving the mail process lock file in place?

Hi James,
From the main error message 'Failed to connect to
mailhub-nj02.nj.ssmb.com:25 [SMTP: Failed to connect socket:
A
connection attempt failed because the connected party did
not properly
respond after a period of time, or established connection
failed because
connected host has failed to respond.
(code: -1, response: )]' this looks like a network or
mail server issue.
This is generally easy to determine, from the machine you
run Eventum
on, open a telnet client and try to telnet to your mail
machine.
Best Regards,
/bryan
