You can safely delete all entries in the mail_queue table
with
maq_status = 'sent'. However, if you do you will lose some
functionality. For instance, when you view an email in
eventum, it
should show you all the users who received a copy. However,
if you
delete the old contents of the mail queue, you will no
longer be able to
see this. If you are concerned simply about size, you can
set maq_body =
null on older emails.
