Eventum email integration

Hi,
   
  I have sendmail as the mail server. 
  Mails are sent using "mail" command from the
command prompt. 
  The cronjob for processing mail queue has also been setup.
  In the "setup" part of eventum following smtp
configuration is done.
   
  Hostname: *  name_of_machine
Port: *  25   
Requires Authentication?  No 
   
  In eventum also the "send all mails" is set to
true for the user.
   
  Still I cant receive mails when issues are created.
   
  Please help.
