Any easy ideas how to mass close issues?

I have a issue with EVentum where I have hundreds of issues
that remain
open, and need to be closed in one mass swoop.  I don't want
to delete
them because the information containted in them is slightly
important.

Anyway, does anyone have a script handy that can do this? 
I'm not an
expert in SQL to say the least, and looking at it all, I get
a bit
lost..

Hi Robert,

If you permissions are high enough, you should have access
to the bulk
update screen. I am not sure if close is an option, though.

Change the status you want to set them to to not repersent a
closed
issue (in the admin interface).  Use the bulk update tool,
change the
status back to representing a closed issue.
