I have not seen the problem that you are having, but I
can comment on the amount of tickets. My Eventum
installation has tracked almost 23,000 issues. This
is only after 8 months of production use. I have 101
users and 15 departments using it. My SQL database is
almost 5GB in size. we allow 10MB attachments. At
this size, I see no performance issues due to dialy
use, size of database, or amount of tickets.
We are planning, however, to disable the ability for
users to list "All" tickets in the list issues
screen.
One project has 14,000 issues and this may take 5
minutes or longer to load all issues including closed
ones. There is really no reason to list all 14,000
tickets, but given the change a user will do it.
I think the Eventum database design is absolutely
perfect. Hats off to the Eventum team on that one.
